New Work Debuts at the Spark Festival

A new work called Murmur Study sees its public debut.

A new work entitled Murmur Study debuted at the 2009 Spark Festival this past week. It is now on display at the Experimental and Media Arts show at the Nash Gallery through the end of March.

Murmur Study is the first in a series of ongoing collaborations with Márton András Juhász and the Kitchen Budapest.

This is a visualization technique I developed at the Climate Hack workshop in Berlin. Over time, depending on the nature of the data, more or less sugar is deposited from the spinning cotton-candy machine. Color and density can be modulated.
