The very concept of &quot;where&quot; &#8212; humanity&#39;s understanding of our relationship to the world around us &#8212; is expanding. W(e are )here: Mapping the Human Experience is a collaboration between Intermedia Arts and Solutions Twin Cities that creatively explores the intersections of communication, technology, and aesthetics. Running from March 31st to May 10th, this unique multi-media exhibit invites you to explore and interact with the information around you through data visualization, artistic expression, and interactive installations.</p>

<p><b>Happy Hour &amp; Exhibit Showing</b><br /><i>Tuesday, April 1st | 5 to 8pm<br /></i>Come to the Herkimer Pub &amp; Brewery to meet and greet the artist and curators of W<i>(e are )</i>here: Mapping the Human Experience. This informal get together will be followed at 6:30 by a short walk to Intermedia Arts for a special &quot;after hours&quot; showing of the exhibit. Free and open to all.</p>
<p><b>&quot;Visualizing Urban Data Streams&quot; &#8211; A lecture by Eric Rodenbeck</b><br /><i>Monday, April 14th | 5:45pm @ 100 Rapson Hall, U of M campus </i><br />As part of the College of Design Lecture Series, join Eric Rodenbeck, founder and creative director of Stamen Design, for a discussion about their work and data visualization as a new medium. Visit W<i>(e are )</i>here: Mapping the Human Experience to see Stamen Design&#39;s interactive installation visualizing the growth and development of the Twin Cities over time. Free and open to all.</p>
<p><b>Psychogeographic Map Making Party</b><br /><i>Thursday, April 24th | 6:30 to 9pm @ Intermedia Arts</i><br />Join Solutions Twin Cities for a psychogeographic walking tour &amp; map making party. You&#39;ll form small groups and set out on foot in search of unique insights into the urban fabric of the surrounding Uptown neighborhoods. Utilizing Google Earth, a projector, and a wall sized &quot;canvas,&quot; groups will then layer their experiences over a projected representation of the city, resulting in one map that communicates the participant&#39;s collective experience. Drinks will be available to assist the creative spirit. Free and open to all.</p>
<p><b>W<i>(e are )</i>here: Mapping the Human Experience &#8211; Exhibit Party </b><br /><i>Friday, April 25th | 7 to 11pm @ Intermedia Arts</i><br />Join Intermedia Arts, Solutions Twin Cities, and the artists of W<i>(e are )</i>here: Mapping the Human Experience for an exciting night of multi-media presentations from the artists, music, drinks and food. Free and open to all.</p>

&nbsp;- <a href="http://innig.net/" target="_blank">Paul Cantrell</a> &amp; <a href="http://luke.francl.org/" target="_blank">Luke Francl</a> created a site specific interactive web application entitled &quot;Where We&#39;re Coming From.&quot;<br />
&nbsp;- Jonathan Harris &amp; Sep Kamvar have included their website &quot;<a href="http://wefeelfine.org/" target="_blank">We Feel Fine</a>.&quot;<br />&nbsp;- <a href="http://stamen.com/" target="_blank">Stamen Design</a> is submitting a custom &quot;Twin Cities <a href="http://hindsight.trulia.com/" target="_blank">Trulia Hindsight</a> Map.&quot;<br />
&nbsp;- <a href="http://www.nedrelow.com/" target="_blank">Scott Nedrelow</a> is presenting &quot;Palisade Head.&quot;<br />&nbsp;- Alice Dodge is being represented by her piece &quot;<a href="http://sixlizards.com/art_portfolio/6views.html" target="_blank">Six views of Minneapolis-St.Paul</a>.&quot;<br />
&nbsp;- Christian Nolds&#39; &quot;<a href="http://www.sf.biomapping.net/" target="_blank">San Francisco Emotion Map</a>&quot; will be on display.<br />&nbsp;- Chris Harrison is including a piece from his &quot;<a href="http://www.chrisharrison.net/projects/bibleviz/index.html" target="_blank">Visualizing the Bible</a>&quot; series.<br />
