Work in the Reading by Light exhibition at Gallery@, UK.
My work will be a part of the Reading By Light exhibition at Gallery@ in the North of England. From the website:
Reading by Light combines contemporary and classic lights with text works from artists and writers to create a new exhibition environment for the acts of reading and consideration.
The condition and act of reading will be explored in a number of light/text juxtapositions ranging from philosophical opinions to humour. New lights and text works will be commissioned to join a number of specifically selected objects and texts to create a stimulating environment that will relate to those interested in design, art and literature.
The reading material will come in many different formats such as works on paper, neon art works, books and small sculptural objects. Classic and contemporary furniture will also be included to work with a number of art works and lights.
The work will also include the work of:
Damien Hirst, Lawrence Weiner, Simon Patterson, Ian Finlay, Rose Finn- Kelcey and Jeremy Deller.

Hello World will show at LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, Gijón, Spain.

An updated and expanded installation of Hello World! or: How I Learned to Stop Listening and Love the Noise will be a part of the upcoming exhibition called FEEDFORWARD – The Angel of History curated by Steve Dietz, Christiane Paul. The show will run from July 17th through January 11th, 2010 October 23 2009 though 5 April 2010 at LABoral LABoral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial, Gijón, Spain with an opening reception and symposium during the opening weekend.
From the show description:
FEEDFORWARD presents artworks and interventions that examine and challenge the economic, political, and cultural conditions of the historical present in relation to the ahistorical future. It recognizes conscription and duplicity in the process of a globalized economy but also the complicity and desire seemingly endemic to “progress”. The exhibition features both the problematic aspects of the present and future, and the potential for collectivity and agency.
